Through my Tech Class with Dr. Hopper I have been learning the many uses of social media in connection with teaching. I have seen these domains as tools I can use in the classroom rather than for funny pictures and gossip. Through social media I can connect with other teachers and use some tools that they found helpful. Seeing what other teachers recommend using in the classroom and getting insightful information from teachers in the field is beneficial to my teaching and my students' learning.

On social media I can search lesson plans, unit plans, find new books, get hints on how to interact with my students and even watch video tutorials on how to make things in class. Already I have found so many things I'd like to use when I am a teacher, so far I have Pinterest to be the most useful and easiest to navigate. On Pinterest I can build 'boards' that are categorized with certain subjects and activities. I can find science experiments, English writing prompts and even interactive work sheets for extra activities.
