My inquiry project, partnered with Erica Kenworthy, is to integrate cross curricular teaching, First Peoples learning, real life examples and interactive activities into teaching mathematics so that it follows to the new curriculum. 

In order to accomplish this, we met with current Math teachers, First Peoples representatives and students to gain insight. 

We created interactive activities that combine art, cooking, games and math. We have also integrated First Peoples games and culture into some of our activities, which we are very excited about. 

Our inquiry project presentation went well.

Everyone was very excited about the interactive math activities and games and our table was busy the whole time. 

I think having math be fun and interactive made it interesting for people because it is not vey often taught that way. 

We have a lot of comments that people would like math if it was taught the way we were showing it.
