Assessment with the ball
This assessment rubric (GPAI) was developed by Griffin, Mitchell and Olsen (2006) and revised by Hopper (2017). It is used as a way for students to assess how their peers contribute to game play through their off-the-ball movements. This assessment focuses students ability to use space effectively in a supporting role for this net and wall game. The BASE ready position sets the player up to be ready to pass, dive, and run to the position of the ball in order to get an attack set up for a point.

Student Self Assessment
In 3 different classes during this unit, as students leave the gym they will give themselves a mark out of 5 in terms of participation, effort, and preparedness during the class.
Preparedness - if students are in gym strip/athletic clothes they get a mark
Participation - out of 2
Effort - out of 2
Next to the self assessment, teacher will also rate student out of 5 for a total of 10 marks.
Assessment off the ball
GPAI assessment can also be used for defenses off the ball movements. The following rubric is used to assess the students defense. The key Idea here is making sure the student takes away the offences lane for an attack, by deciding as a front row to decide on who to mark guard and cover to take away their available space and get a block to score a point.

Teacher Skill Assessment
The teachers skill assessment chart is used by the teacher to assess students ability of the key skills needed for the task. The chart gives a general overview of the students ability, its for you to document the students progress throughout the unit. BY using the chart throughout the unit the teacher can give clear and concise feedback critiques so the student can improve. The chart is also useful in showing the teacher which students are still struggling.
