Heather Hitchen

I grew up in the Langford Community attending many of the schools in the Sooke School District. I have a strong attachment to this community and hope to one day have my own classroom in one of the schools in the district. For the past few years I've worked in the childcare department at Westshore Recreation. I've worked in their summer camps, After School Care program, Pro D day/Spring Break Camps, as well as subbed in some of their preschool programs. Through these jobs I've realized how much I love working with children. I find working with them an incredibly rewarding experience and something I want to continue for the rest of my career.
