Shelby Conner

My name is Shelby Conner and I am a student at the University of Victoria, in the Bachelor of Education Elementary program. I grew up being very close with my family and having so much support with anything I wanted to do. So for years my parents and siblings (there's 4 of them), supported me in my love for dancing. When I got older I started volunteering in the dance classes of younger recreational students and decided right then that I loved to teach. It took me a little longer however, to realize that I loved all forms of teaching not just dance teaching, so I decided that I wanted to be a school teacher. I still have passion for creativity, exploration and movement that was given to me by my years in dance.
