Because students have different learning styles (visual, auditory, tactual, kinesthetic), they will have different sensory preference when it comes to finger painting. 

Visual Learners:

• Don't like to get messy
• Will prefer to finger paint with gloves on or with brushes

Tactual Learners:

• Want to physically feel the texture of the paint
• Won't hesitate to dig their bare fingers in the paint

Kinesthetic Learners:

• Active
• Will finger paint, but may want to stand up and move while there do it

Auditory Learners:

• Will prefer to finger paint with music playing in the background
