Math 9: Exponents

The following is part one of a two-part lesson on the laws of exponents. It begins with a short warm-up, then an engaging note-taking session, followed by an interactive exponent law foldable, and then ending with time for students to work on homework.

Also included is a unit homework assignment that the students would begin at the end of this lesson, and a review game that could be used as a review for exponent laws, and expanded upon to be used as a unit test review.

Diverse Learning

During my time at UVic, I've had the opportunity to study several different subjects aside from my specialty areas which has allowed my learning to become more diverse and well-rounded. In addition to math and physical education, I have taken courses on educational psychology, Indigenous education, English, and introductory French. I have also taken several courses on modern European history. What follows are several of my academic works from these subject areas.
