The Educational Technology Users Group (ETUG) is a community of BC post-secondary educational practitioners focused on the ways in which learning and teaching can be enhanced through technology. As a grassroots group, ETUG has been in existence since 1994. This presentation provides an overview of the current project and relevant concepts of complexity and systems thinking in professional programs.
LTAT 2016
LTAT
LTAT (Let's Talk About Teaching) is an event held at University of Victoria since 2012. This year's event took place Wednesday, August 31 and Thursday, September 1, 2016 at Harry Hickman Building. There are two days of conversations, networking and concurrent sessions led by UVic teachers and Learning and Teaching Centre staff for all faculty, instructors and lecturers at UVic.
Our 80-minute workshop provided an introduction to our current practices of using digital eP and an opportunity for hands-on experience of Folioz platform.

About
Colonizing model of education is no longer sufficient for providing the education needed by new generations of learners who are facing a world with challenges that they are not able to address with current approaches to education. The presentation works to decolonize by building on Indigenous learning principles. TRUVIC provides some explorative actions toward creating spaces, community, and inclusion for a paradigm shift in thinking about education.
