Prior to the season I meet with division coordinators to see how many umpires they require, when they require them, and any other special events they may need umpires for during the season. Throughout the season I schedule umpires for the required games, as well as making sure they are aware of the rules they should be following as some young division play with modified rules.

Provide customer service, package goods, keep department clean, and provide quality control before the goods are on the shelf.

Umpire divisions one, two, and three games, including playoffs throughout the season. Ensuring the games remain safe, fair, on time, and rules are applied appropriately.

As a senior leader, I was excepted to plan, along with the other leaders, the camps for the summer; typically it was the camps that I would be involved with. I also was to ensure the safety of participants, run games/ activities, and help the participants develop lifelong skills.

Umpire field hockey at a regional and national tournaments for the age groups of U13, U15, and U18. Ensuring the games remain safe, fair, on time, and rules are applied appropriately.

Umpire high school games, including playoffs, and Island championships. Ensuring the games remain safe, fair, on time, and rules are applied appropriately. Also hired through this league to umpire in high school level tournaments, such as Bridgman Cup.

As a junior leader, I was excepted to aid the senior leaders in any way that I could, along with ensuring the safety of participants, running games/ activities, and helping the participants develop lifelong skills.

Assist the teacher with teaching in class and organizing fun activities during out trips and breaks.

Through Field Hockey BC I was nominated, which I accepted, to be a part of the mentorship program which was only the 15 up and coming umpires in the province.

I am required by the Vikes Recreation Summer Camp program to have a current Standard First Aid Certificate.

This organization certified me in developing a high level of knowledge and expertise in child development. Also provided me with tools for enhancing and maintaining a high level of program, in this case Vikes Recreation, quality.

This award recognizes the most improved umpire through the Vancouver Island Ladies Field Hockey Association.

Was selected through my high school to attend the Sport Leadership Conference hosted at the Pacific Institute of Sports Excellence.

Awarded to a grade twelve athlete who is one of the top athletes along with showing great sportsmanship through physical education and athletics.

I received a scholarship for my accomplishments through physical education and athletic accomplishments throughout high school.

Through my high school each year I attended, I received a service award through my volunteer efforts through my leadership class and coaching.

Attended the World Vision Youth Conference in Vancouver to learn more about the organization, ways youth are able to help, and share ideas with other students. I was able to attend this conference by being selected, with a few other students, through my high school leadership group.

Received my level one coaching certification for field hockey. In the process of working towards receiving the level two equivalent through Field Hockey BC.

Received my community level (first level) umpiring certification enabling me to umpire in the local youth league.

I was award the top female athlete grades either through eleven for being the top female athlete in my grade.
