Lesson Plan Resources
Here are many of the lesson plans I have created throughout my degree:
Victoria Youth Ultimate Initiative
Victoria Youth Ultimate is an initiative to generate more opportunities for Youth to play Ultimate in Southern Vancouver Island. We taught Ultimate in many Physical Education classes last year ranging from grade 6 to grade 12 all over the Vancouver Island. This year, we are hoping to teach in more schools. Because we usually can only attend each class once, I have created a unit package which is tailored to teachers who have little to no Ultimate background so that they can continue the unit on their own after we are gone. The package has video demonstrations of all the games as well as diagrams and write-ups. The unit is broken down into 4 phases and the length of each phase will grately vary depending upon the class. The idea is centralized upon teaching the tactics of Ultimate through games and task progressions.
Here is the website I created or you can click the photo below.
Indigenous Education Materials
Attached here are two files from I-ED 373 course (Indigenous Education class).
I lost my talk- is a presentation myself and two peers did focusing on Indigenous poetry, why people choose to write poetry, and how to incorporate Indigenous principles and education into our teaching.
Resource Review- This is a review I did of a TED Talks about cultural genocide. I found this video profounding and could easily see myself incorporating it into my social studies class.
Discourse Video- This is a video of myself and two peers having a discussion about the things we learned from class. Having it in a video format will help me be able to access this knowledge whenever I need to refresh it and it also serves to remind me that having discourse or discussions about issues can be more educational than lectures or tests.

Teaching Standars
The Teaching Standards help to solidify our commitment to the teaching profession. Upon reading the 8 teaching standards, I have reflected on each one with my personal feelings towards them and some experiences I have had.
Videos
I love mixing different types of mediums into my teaching. I love editing movies and making highlight videos and plan to use this throughout my career. Below is a playlist of three videos I edited for the field experience teaching grade 9/10 boys volleyball at Reynolds Secondary.
EPHE 452 Videos Playlist:
Peer Reflection- This video is our reflection upon us teaching our peers one of our volleyball lessons before we went to Reynolds and there is a discussion of the changes we made and what we thought went well.
FIeld Experience- This video is a reflection of our 3 lessons at Reynolds including feedback from the students at the end.
EPHE 452 Term Recap- This video is a display of all the things we learned in our teaching strategies class.
