Overview

As a music educator, one of my greatest priorities is to expose students to a diverse range of music. I believe that this is important, as it enables children to see music's unique ability to help us connect and communicate with others around the world. One way to help children experience a diverse range of music, is to attend musical performances with students. As such, I attended and reflected on a series of musical performances in the winter of 2018. Following these performances, I reflected on how they could be used to support a classroom teacher in creating rich, valuable learning experiences for students.
