Sarah Gauvin

Hi, My name is Sarah Gauvin. Welcome to my E-Portfolio! I am a third year student at the University of Victoria studying Elementary Education. Throughout my life my experiences as a camp leader, babysitter, and mentor have led me to develop a passion for working with children. I love the way children view the world through excited eyes, and fearlessly try new things. My appreciation for children has ultimately led me to pursue a career in teaching. Throughout my educational experience I was fortunate to have many teachers who enabled me to achieve my full potential. As a teacher I hope to make the same kind of impact on my students. I believe that every child has the ability to achieve great things. It is my goal to help my students find their unique abilities by creating an explorative classroom setting that will fuel their passions and enable them to succeed.

What's more important is creating a quality learning environment that helps create effective learners.
