About Me
Welcome to my ePortfolio! I am a student at the University of Victoria, in the Bachelor of Elementary Education.
Ever since I can remember, I have wanted to become a teacher. I believe that every child learns differently and it is the respsonsibility of the educator to discover what is needed in order to facilitate that learning. Through my studies at Uvic, I hope to learn how to provide a safe space for children to learn, explore, discover and grow. I want my students to be just as excited as I am to come to class every morning!
Learning is Different for Everyone
I really love this video. It really shows how important it is as a teacher to recognized diversity in the classroom, and make every child feel like they have a place in the classroom. Everyone learns differently and I hope to have a classroom where that is acknowledged.
